IMAGINE FINDING ME
1975+2005, Spain
1976+2005, Kamakura, Japan
If,
again
I have a chance to meet,
there is so much I want to ask
and so much I want to tell
Imagine Finding Me is a photo series, where Chino Otsuka places herself in photographs from her past to create a double self-portrait. Such an interesting angle...the whole series is very endearing (and one of the few good things I can say I've seen come from the use of Photoshop.)

WILD THINGS TRAILER
It's official! After much talk, and at least a year since the first few "teaser" film stills were released, it's finally here. Most of us have a soft spot in our heart for classic stories like Where the Wild Things Are, and from the looks of it, Spike Jonze's interpretation won't be a letdown.

THIS IS JAPAN
I came across this video right when I got back from my trip to Europe, which was really strange since I had also just made a video documenting my travels through photographs. Eric Testroete's video, This is Japan! tells a really nice story alongside LCD Soundsystem's All My Friends (much respect for the music selection, by the way.) The use of tone in the video really brings all of the photographs together. This gives me alot of motivation in continuing to document upcoming trips of my own in this way.

SPAIN
Josh and I traveled to Barcelona and San Sebastian over the holidays and had some fun with my digital camera. If you ever have the chance to visit either of these places, DO IT. I dream about going back everyday.

Also, there are a few dork-out moments sprinkled in here and there, but I won't expect you to think any of it is funny. (watch it on vimeo in pretty HD)
Enjoy!
